The Way to Emmet’s
Emmet's is a place you'll find yourself seeking out through scenic, winding Missouri roads on a sunny spring day or in the evening right before the sun goes to sleep. The experience begins when you arrive on the square in Fayette, Missouri. Pull into a spot around the historic courthouse just like people have done since they came to town in a horse and buggy and you'l know you're at Emmet's by the smell of something good cooking.
When you walk through our front door, the first thing you'll probably notice (besides the enticing aroma from the kitchen) is the inviting, warm environment. We painstakingly restored the original rustic wood floor, fifteen foot curved pressed-tin ceiling and the exposed brick walls of our building that has stood on the square since 1884.
And after youfve enjoyed a delicious meal cooked just the way you like it, served with good drink and friendly service, it wonft be long before you understand why they say, "it's a pretty little drive to total satisfaction". We hope you'll make that drive and visit us often.
